Lady Falcons Crash Moorefield Senior Night

By Carl Holcomb
Moorefield Examiner

It was a red carpet night as the Lady Yellow Jackets honored all their volleyball seniors with flowers and balloons and showed good sportsmanship recognizing each Frankfort senior with a carnation before the Lady Falcons swooped down in the match slicing up the Hive in straight sets 25-14, 25-15 and 25-11 last Monday in Moorefield.

The Moorefield Volleyball seniors are: Hanna Carlson, Sydney Hardy, Kennedie Hinger, Madison McGregor, Cassie Mooney, Isabelle Nesbit, Tayla Ours, Anna Riggleman and Lindsey Rinker.

“Most of our seniors have been with us all four years, so it is exciting and sad to see them walk out of there. Before we ended this match, we told them this won’t be our last time on this floor. They will have a few more and that will be exciting. We invited a good Frankfort team here tonight. They are a solid team, have solid attackers and move the ball around very well. It was three and done for us. We couldn’t move tonight. We just didn’t play solid ball. We have to make adjustments and move to the next match,” Moorefield Coach Morgan Hill-See remarked.
