Moorefield Little League Board would like to thank all of our sponsors, volunteers, parents and players for your patience and support during this uncertain time. It is with heavy hearts that we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Moorefield Little League season. We feel that it is in the best interest of players, coaches, volunteers, and families to cancel all practices and games to ensure the safety of everyone. New guidelines would have made it extraordinarily difficult for us to play this year.

Excerpt from East Hardy County Little League Announcement
Good afternoon, this year would have commemorated the East Hardy County Little League’s 40th season of play. However, it is with a very heavy heart that we have made the official decision to cancel the remainder of the season. This decision was not made lightly and we are all very disappointed that we had to make this choice. We felt that it was in the best interest of our players, our volunteers, and our audience to cancel practices and games in order to ensure everyone’s safety during these times.
